The Women, Infants and Children program provides nutritious supplement foods to eligible women, infants and children: improves prenatal health and birth outcomes, promotes breast feeding as the preferred infant feeding method, promotes physical activity at all age levels, promotes healthy eating habits through the Eat Well Play Hard initiative, and links families with health and human service providers.
