Emergency Family Assistance - Salvation Army Buffalo | Salvation Army Buffalo Area Services at 1000 Main St

Offers an emergency food pantry which provides pre-packed bags of food based on family size. A client can visit the food pantry once per month, and should bring reusable bags or a cart to transport their food. All other food service is being provided through Emergency Canteen (see separate listing on Homeless Outreach Program). Also provides intensive case management services for families, assistance with SNAP applications and re-certification, and screening and referrals for other programs of Salvation Army. ##REENTRY##

Application process

Clients should bring reusable bags or a cart to transport their food. Upon arrival, food pantry clients will be instructed to complete the mandatory grocery slip. Staff will then deliver the pre-packed bags of food to the client in the waiting area.
