Meetings are held at Finger Lakes Independence Center every other Wednesday from 3:30-4:30PM. Each meeting, the group will focus on a different discussion topic. Areas of focus include self-awareness, relationships, self-management, crisis/post-crisis planning, and treatment planning. Group members will have an opportunity to learn and share with others who have experienced depression.

Promotes independence and informed decision-making for people with disabilities, their families and friends: education on rights and responsibilities; helps solve problems of independent living information and explanation of benefits, eligibility requirements and procedures independent living skills and training for those who want to enter the workforce peer counseling and support groups convalescent and adaptive equipment for loan free community outreach speakers, workshops and training to develop awareness of disability issues operates Consumer Directed Personal Assistance program for Tompkins County Medicaid recipients social activities for individuals with disabilities workshops on managing chronic health conditions and other disability-related topics sign language interpreter referrals and American Sign Language classes architectural accessibility consultations and modular ramp installation.
