University at Buffalo Educational Opportunity Center (UBEOC)

Provides academic, vocational, and career services to Western New York residents. Students enrolling at UBEOC can select from over 20 programs and services offered days, evenings and some weekends. In addition to academic and vocational programs, UBEOC also offers specialized learning community programs like ATTAIN (Advanced Technology Training and Information Networking). The ATTAIN lab is an open computer lab offering academic, occupational, and employability courses through technology. Offers programs for: - Academic & TASC Preparation (Mathematics, Reading, Writing, Science, Social Studies, English as a Second Language / ESL) - Certifications (Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS), Microsoft Technology Associate (MTA), Intuit QuickBooks Certification) - Career Exploration (Nursing Assistant, Home Care, Child Care, Customer Service, Office Skills, Typing Skills, Carpentry, Electrical, Plumbing, Building Maintenance, Security Guard) - Computer Literacy (Microsoft Digital Literacy)
