Assists veterans and their dependents in processing claims for benefits, discharge, separation papers and tax exemption. Offers information and counseling relating to veteran's rights under the law. Areas include pensions, compensation, survivors' benefits, housing, taxes, records and social services. Also offers assistance, with appeals, obtaining medals, filing for DD-214 and referrals to other county, state, and federal agencies.
