Provides peer-supported apartments located in Niagara Falls and Lockport that accommodate individuals who are able to manage their substance use disorder with less intensive supports. Staff are on call 24 hours a day and meet with residents weekly. Linkage is provided for outpatient treatment, educational, and vocational services. Program employs client-centered cognitive behavioral and dialectical behavioral therapies, along with motivational interviewing to help residents learn to cope with life experiences without relying on substance use. Utilizes trauma-informed care practices that seek to address each individual's past history or trauma and its effect on their lives.
