Some 250 financial-aid students with federal work-study awards are placed in off-campus positions during the academic year, and another 80 to 90 during the summer term.Students work in various areas, including daycare, education, health services (physical and mental), legal services, environmental issues, planning, public works and the arts in over 50 different organizations or sites.The program receives work-study funds from the U.S. Department of Education and is subject to its guidelines and regulations and Cornell's employment policies.
