Description
Provides housing services to homeless families placed through Suffolk County Department of Social Services. Provides shelter, case management services, housing relocation assistance, transportation services, intake, assessment, and crisis intervention services. The purpose is to provide homeless families with a safe environment and the supports necessary in order to secure permanent housing. Homeless families placed through Suffolk County Department of Social Services. Access to all Emergency Housing for Homeless Persons Requires a Referral by a DSS office location/hotline operator.
