Charged with investigation of all violations of Federal law except those assigned to another Federal agency. Includes a wide range of responsibility in the criminal, civil and security fields. Also offers cooperative services such as fingerprint identification, laboratory examination police training, and the National Crime Information Center. Our Long Island Resident Agency is responsible for conducting investigations within Nassau and Suffolk counties.
