SENIOR VOLUNTEER PROGRAM | ULSTER COUNTY OFFICE FOR THE AGING

This service link volunteers to opportunities such as driving seniors from their homes to medical appointments through their Neighbor to Neighbor Program, volunteer as an insurance counselor, foster grandparents, helping out in local library or hospitals, contacting/calling home bound seniors, etc. This service also connects and works with organizations throughout Ulster County.

The Office for the Aging assists Ulster County residents, age 60 and older, to be as independent as possible, for as long as possible, through advocacy and the development and delivery of cost effective policies, programs and services that support and empower the elderly and their families in partnership with the network of public and private organizations which serve them.
