Temporary Financial Assistance (TFA) program: cash grants to minor children of veterans who are eligible for American Legion membership. Helpd families in need meet the cost of shelter, food, utilities and health expenses. National Emergency Fund: direct financial assistance to Legion family members and posts who have lost homes or facilities to rebuild. Scholarships and other resources to assist young people pursue higher education.
