Description

Provides comprehensive early childhood program for children 3-5 years of age. Serves residents of Long Beach, Lido Beach, Island Park, and Atlantic Beach. Also provides services to low income families. Funds Community Action Programs in Freeport, Glen Cove, Hempstead, Port Washington, Rockville Centre, Lakeview, Roosevelt. Also offers MLK Scholarship Program, Displaced Homemakers Program, Job Readiness/Job Placement, Summer Youth Programs, Head Start Child Development, Downstate New York Healthy Start Program, College Tours to Historically Black Colleges.
