Cancer Services Program of Steuben, Allegany, Cattaraugus, & Chautauqua Counties
A statewide, comprehensive cancer screening program providing breast, cervical, and colorectal cancer screening for eligible uninsured and under-insured women and men. Helps patients navigate through the screening and/or diagnostic process and assists in finding health care providers for services. Can also provide education and assistance in finding insurance through the New York State of Health Marketplace. Provides access to the Medicaid Cancer Treatment Program (MCTP) to pay for treatment for patients who do not have insurance and are diagnosed with breast, cervical, colorectal, or prostate cancer. Additional assistance can be provided for diagnostic services and any cancer related treatment such as gas cards, wigs, supplies, etc. This is a grant funded NYSDOH program.
