NASSAU COUNTY OPIOID TREATMENT PROGRAM | NASSAU COUNTY OPIOID TREATMENT PROGRAM

Provides a treatment program for clients suffering from Opioid Substance Use Disorder with a comprehensive, culturally competent bio-psycho-social treatment approach to assist the chemically dependent person(s) to cease the use of illicit and/or controlled substances and move towards leading a healthy and productive life. The goal of this program is to utilize intensive, inter-disciplinary services and individualized treatment planning to successfully intervene with the chemically dependent client. Services include: Counseling; Nursing services; Psychiatric Services; Medical assessment; HIV/AIDS testing and education; Tapering program; Women's groups; Men's groups and Coordinate care with Court Systems, DSS, and Case Management, and Community Based Organizations.
